Our Guided Process

Our guided process will help you set up your account and use the exchange.

  1. 1.
    Sign up and verify accreditation to discover published capacity.
  2. 2.
    Submit booking requests by selecting capacity blocks on specific trips.
  3. 3.
    Provide payment information to complete ACH or wire transfers in accordance with payment terms.
  4. 4.
    Receive confirmation that requested capacity blocks are booked.
  5. 5.
    Prepare goods and tender to the supplier, generally at the origin gateway.
  6. 6.
    Receive updates from active transporters in your transportation portfolio.
  7. 7.
    Recover goods from the destination gateway.
  8. 8.
    Complete payment process using the CloudSort platform.

Pricing

  • Suppliers (Publishers) are not charged for publishing capacity.
  • Demand-side Users (Buyers) are not charged for viewing capacity.
  • Pricing is set directly by the Supplier.
  • The unit of measure for each transaction is a Capacity Block, which equates to a standard pallet position: 48" length × 40" width. Maximum height is generally 84", but can vary by lane.
  • In some instances, Suppliers set a minimum pallet threshold.
  • Capacity bought and sold is within specific, established transportation lanes with set dispatch and arrival times.
